It is up to them to connect the past with the present and the future, bridging prior knowledge with emerging ones, and then with research, which paves the way for the future. The University of Siena aims to strengthen the role of students as informed citizens. To this end, it provides them with multiple opportunities for exchange with the communities and territories where students live during their time at USiena.

An example of such opportunities is represented by the projects of the Community Hub Culture Ibride, in which local associations, researchers, and students from the University of Siena collaborate to design opportunities and spaces for participation in cultural, artistic, and relational activities, such as theater, figurative art, performing arts, meditation, and more.
