Knowledge. Responsibility. Active citizenship 

To be ambassadors of knowledge is a responsibility that demands seriousness, the ability to share, and continual enrichment. All components of the academic community at the University of Siena (USiena) actively contribute to the process of transforming society through a multitude of actions aimed at combining education, research, and innovation within a bilateral process of exchanging and integrating knowledge with society.

The main steps toward this sharing involve becoming aware of the potential of USiena, understanding its role, both from the perspective of individual disciplines and multidisciplinary collaborations (Research Networks), reflecting on issues of great relevance to society (Interrogar-Si), monitoring (Initiative Submission), and measuring in a qualitative-quantitative manner the volume of actions undertaken and their impact (PE Initiatives).
